ASHER STERN

Santa Cruz-based singer/songwriter/guitarist Asher Stern opened KRML Carmel's Live in the Vines concert with G Love back in 2017 and he currently performs at numerous venues around California and beyond. Asher enjoys creating tasteful layers of rhythm through looping on his acoustic guitar to accompany his soulful, heartfelt songs, sometimes even breaking out his harmonica. As a songwriter, he aims to create an environment that brings people joy. He covers a range of artists from Red Hot Chili Peppers to Otis Redding, Bill Withers to Van Morrison, and Bob Dylan to Bob Marley. His audience often compares his sound to Jack Johnson and early John Mayer.
